Pizza Runs in Our Family

Frank Fontana Sr.

opened his first pizzeria in 1964 bringing his old world Italian recipes to the people of Brooklyn. Using only the freshest and finest ingredients Frank Fontana Sr. specialized in a wide variety of pizza and rolls. Original pizza flourished over the years with praise and recognition from their customers. After 60 years of success the pizzeria is now in its second generation. Frank Sr. two sons Sal and Frank Jr. now share the same passion for quality foods.

Best pizza I’ve ever had. I am not big on pizza, I’ll probably have one every here and there, but I don’t really go out of my way to buy pizza or ever crave pizza. But I work as a taxi driver for the moment, and I was looking for a bathroom, realized this place was still open, and I also had to eat something. I walked in, and the guy was VERY WELCOMING. Idk if it was his friendliness, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, but that was by far the BEST PIZZA I’ve ever had. And I’ve eaten plenty from different places from all over NYC.
